Its time folks!!

-> Muthalik's cry against Valentine's Day or his horrific beating of defenseless girls in Mangalore. (disgraceful but i'm sure he was jealous coz he is still a bachelor at that ripe old age)

-> Bombings planned by Hindu Religious Leaders and the emergence of "Indian Mujahideen". (stupid fools can think of only violence and even a sadhvi was a part of this. I'm sure each everyone is corrupt. I won't be surprised if they were working for some islamic terrorist group)

-> The atrocities against Christianity in Mangalore and Orissa. (Shows that our country's intellectual level is growing in reverse!!)

-> Curtailing of pub culture in the Pub City of India. (Again socialistic losers who think they are correct and people should live in only way!! U asses democracy means freeedom of individuals and an individual never lives in the same way as others do!!)

-> Rajasthan CM announcing that he will do away with mall culture. (I think he is working for the terrorists or enemies who wants to stop India from growing economically and industrially!! Stupid fool, wonder how he even got elected)

-> Narendra Modi is still the CM of Gujarat and is walking free even though he did not do anything to stop the Godhra Carnage. (The failure of democracy!)

-> Parties like RSS, VHP, Sri Rama Sene, Shiv Sena et al are rampant and growing and nothing is being done by the Executive or Judiciary powers in this country to deal with the extremist menace. (we can't ban extremist parties but we can certainly restirct their growth and teach people and our children about the horrors of extremism leading the extinction of these parties)

-> Advani announcing openly that he and the BJP will fight this year's election on building a Ram temple in Ayodhya. (I'm shocked beyond imagination!! A national party fighting a national election on the basis of religion and outrightly disregarding democracy. Proves the fact that these old timers have to go)

-> Minister in Karnataka openly in public stating (without making it clear that its his personal opinion) that modern art is destroying Indian culture!! (need i say more??)

This is the face of the emerging India that we are seeing. An India which is desperately trying to revert to the old socialistic norms which thrives on curtailing public rights. The funny thing is that this is the face put on by the old leaders of the country who want to go back to the India in which they grew up. One would think that in their 70-80 years of life they would have learned something!!

Its election time again and once again the leaders will be elected by the people. But who will we elect? Are their any leaders left? Manmohan Singh is a learned man but he is certainly not leadership material, Advani on the other hand is an extremist maniac who can not see past his nose and will run this country into a taliban regime.

But that is not the question, the question is should we let our country be run by half dead morons who are looking for only 5 years of personal profit becoz after that they will die anyway? Should we let the country be ruled by criminals who can't read or write their own names? Every job in this country, even the chaprasi's job has certain requirements then why shouldn't the most important jobs in this country have requirements? Why cant we specify that any member in the government :-

1) should have a minimum IQ of 85
2) should be minimum 25 years of age or maximum 70 years of age
3) should have a bachelor's degree with 1st class.
4) should NOT have any criminal cases against him/her in the court of law or be under investigation of any criminal offense.
5) the PM should have been a member of parliament for atleast 10 years with a 95% attendance record.
6) the PM when elected can not be more than 65 years of age and must have a minimum IQ of 90.

and several such requirements. These oldie nincompoops will turn the country into shambles and destroy democracy. Its is our age out time to live, not some 80 yr old buffoons who can hardly walk and look more and think like they are a 1000 years old.

It is us, the youth, who have to take up the helm, its our time to lead, its our time to shape the world. We've been told throughout our childhood that we are the future leaders of the world, well people guess what!!? the future is here, wake up; see the bright light, smell the fresh air and stop fooling around. Its time to get serious and take over. Its time to revolutionise this country into a modern avatar which will lead the world; not hand it over to a bunch of fossils who refuse to change with the times. Any person, any corporation or any any country can only survive if they change with the times; if they evolve and grow into new ways of thinking discarding the old, its time to do just that. Its time to tell the old baggage to retire and rest, its time for us, the current generation, to take the helm. Its time to change India into a modern country. The last time that happened was when Rajiv Gandhi was the PM. A young and vibrant leader who could see the future. Its time again to change and embrace the future.

Rise oh younguns rise into the light and take this country into a new era. An era marked by peace, tranquility, tolerance, and growth.

Such a Waste!

The biggest disease that this planet suffers from is religion. Soft!.. I’m not saying that everyone should become atheists.. please worship in the way you see fit.. what I am saying is that everyone should realise that religion does not exist. What exists is one God, and religion is nothing but the different ways in which humans express their sense of faith, belief and perception of the higher power. They assume that God will look kindly upon them if they worship in a certain way. What they do not realise is that God, when he/she made this universe established one very simple rule in nature, one which even he/she cannot break and that is balance. Nature consists only of balance; for every bad there good, for every action there is a reaction and for every deed the doer is either rewarded or punished in a way no one can foretell. So even if you do use the various religions to show your devotion to God, he does not look kindly upon you as he cannot do anything to release you from what you are to reap because of your actions. The worst part of this is that Humans know and realise that there is one God but they still keep on squabbling in the name of religion. What happened to the Christians in India is deplorable, Hindu terrorism is stupidity by some fanatical leaders who can’t see beyond their nose and Jihad carried out by Islamic terrorists is nothing but madness. This kind of incessant squabbling does nothing but prove how stupid humans are and prove that our mental capacities can go beyond madness into a realm not discovered yet.

Terrorism is nothing but a mutated strain of the religion virus where the diseased have been afflicted by a madness unheard of as yet. A madness which brainwashes them into believing that there is only one way of life in this multi-faceted universe. Will they just stop at humans and go beyond into terrorising animals too? Who knows if this madness will end.

Such terrorism initially begins with religion when a person becomes so blind that he cannot see that other people are worshipping the same God he does but in a form which is different than his. He thinks that any person who doesn’t think in the way he does should be eliminated. The terrorists think that that inflicting fear will get them somewhere; on the contrary it will only strengthen people’s resolve into fighting till they die. Unfortunately these terrorists can see even less than the aforementioned leaders of Hindu terrorism which is in its early stages of this disease.

A common bully is usually a coward who thinks he can fear people into respecting him but shies away when he sees resistance. Terrorists are such bullies except they don’t fear resistance. They only have one answer to every problem: Violence and killings. They have become so blind and so diseased that they see violence as the only way and have reached a stage where it is incurable.

You are going to say that now these terrorism attacks are beyond religion. Yes now it has reached a stage which goes beyond religion. It now concerns objectives which include revenge (1 cause is: the tragedy which occurred during the partition of India), getting their way where all else fails (ISI’s thinking of getting Kashmir), disagreements on moot points (disagreement with U.S. foreign policy favouring Israel – 9/11 attacks [see WIKI 9/11]) et al. So you can see that terrorists are beyond madness. They do not even see their religion as it should be seen. You still don’t believe me?

Bin Laden’s "Letter to America", October 2002: "you are the worst civilization witnessed by the history of mankind: You are the nation who, rather than ruling by the Shariah of Allah in its Constitution and Laws, choose to invent your own laws as you will and desire. You separate religion from your policies, contradicting the pure nature which affirms Absolute Authority to the Lord and your Creator."

If this doesn’t convince you then nothing will.

Like any other bully the main aim of terrorists is to strike fear and grief into the hearts of people. As we have seen from the Mumbai events, they succeeded in doing this. People lost whole families in the event and many loved ones. While it has been tragic, heartbreaking and so sad that no words can describe it, we should realise that we are in fact helping the terrorists reach their aim. If we grieve their deaths we are fulfilling the terrorist’s aims. Yes, we are filled with unimaginable grief that we will not see our loved ones again, but we should now resolve not to grieve for the people who have died and will die in terrorist attacks. We should celebrate their deaths that they have become Shahid and Martyrs in the war against terrorism. We call the commandos and the policemen who fought terrorists Martyrs; I call every one of the 160 odd people who died a martyr. They died in a noble cause. They died fighting terrorism even though they did not put up a resistance. They were prisoners of war and are war heroes.

>>I salute everyone who has died in terrorist attacks and everyone who has fought to save the people caught in such acts of senseless human waste and violence.

>>Terrorists I call on you to take a moment to look at the destruction you have caused and realise the utter waste you have caused when your planning capabilities could have been used in other ways to make humans more humane.

"Violence begets violence and hurts the soul of the victimizer as well as the victim."

Financial Times... Un-Financial Times..

What happens in a recession? What happens in a depression? How does an economy lose its top-most position and become just another country following the leader? All these questions will get answered in the coming 2-5 years time. An experience and an occurrence which happens once in a lifetime.

As most people would know, or would have found out by now, the bubble called United States of America, the dreamland, the benchmark for all countries to achieve, is on the verge of bursting. Just like other bubbles, for e.g. the dot-com bubble, this will be a very big reality check for the world. It will be a check for people to understand and realize the value of money. USA and all its luxuries and spending habits eroded the value of money. People all across the world have been for many years adopting all the habits (i must admit that some good but mostly bad ones) of the Americans and Americanizing themselves forgetting their own cultures and heritage. As a result, everywhere people have forgotten the value of money. They don't realize that earning money is hard enough but making it grow and multiply is harder still. Once they start earning they seem to think that can afford anything and take loans and start living on credit. WAKE UP everyone! See what that has done to Uncle Sam and will ultimately do to us.

Lehman Brothers, AIG, Bear Stearns, Morgan Stanley.... how many more great names will be added to this list? how many countries will come in this list? USA? Japan? India?..

Centrals Banks trying to increase global liquidity and stabilizing the US Dollar shows that some people have realized the threat. But what they have done is just extended the time needed for the collapse of the US Dollar. The average person who reads the newspapers will not realize the extent to which this can and will effect us and most of the countries round the world. USD is the only international currency in today's world. When it collapses what will the world use to trade with each other? Will they still value everything in the USD? or will we have to alternate to the Barter System?

This current international monetary system was established in 1945 with the Bretton Woods Conference. Valuing everything to the Dollar was decided, it probably, was the intelligent thought of the day then! But for more than 60 years this system has not been changed, has not been adjusted, has not been modified for the current scenario and trends. This system is obviously unsuitable for today's level of cross-border transactions and transfer of money. How valuing currencies of so many countries to one currency could stand the test of 60 years is something i will never understand! You are valuing something with reference to something whose intrinsic value itself keeps on changing and shifting with time. This is probably the most foolish thing to do. The value of a standard against which other things are valued should be stable and its worth should not change in the short-term.

We should never have stopped valuing our currencies against Gold. It was the currency in ancient times and should be the value of our currencies now. The Economists of the world have studied in detail and understood the repurcussions of the previous gold-standard, they can help us devise a new standard based on gold such that those repurcusssions do not occur again. A standard which will be flexible and adopt itself as society changes itself over time.

Ultimately we should look at Free Trade Areas with a more open mind. With the working of the EU we now know that however difficult, FTAs do work. Our ultimate aim and goal should be to make the whole world an FTA such that we have one currency. Its then and only then that there will come about a betterment in other areas of life and human aspects.

The collapse of the US into a catastrophic recession is not far, it has been inevitable for the past 4 years and is not far away. Look ahead for hard times to come, especially for countries like China, India, Japan, Britain. Its going to get tough soon. 1929 will soon seem like a walk in the park. Whether the Tough will get going is yet to be seen.

But it is a big chance for India, we should pull up our pants and get ready to provide leadership to the world. This chance will not come again for a long long time. Will we be ready then (i mean the next time this chance comes around)? we can't say, but for now we should open the door when opportunity knocks and here she is standing outside the door waiting for the correct time to knock.

Dumb Indians?

"The fundamental issue that India has and not easily solvable is average IQ being low. India's average IQ is 81, while that of most progressed countries is above 97. China surprisingly has an average IQ of 100. India being a truely democratic country, the government is represented by majority, and majority has an IQ below 70 (IQ distribution is vast in India). Hence you get a government elected by morons, representing morons, and full of morons. And since these morons govern justice system, education system, healthcare, you name it, a person with an enginerring degree, or a doctor, or a lawyer from India on average has an IQ of 81 as well. While the requirements of becoming a doctor, engineer, lawyer, are way high in most developed countries. Hence, although the economy is flourighing, I have serious doubt if it will sustain. I have concluded that no matter who I deal with in India, i am dealing with an idiot. There are exceptions, and those are the ones who are raising average IQ to 81, otherwise India is no different than Ethiopia. I wonder how long these exceptions can put up with the rest and not give up like I did."

This was commented on an article in The Economist. A truer statement u will not find. The only problem with this is that this statement generalizes. We need to remember that an individual is intelligent but a mob/crowd is dumb. Yes its true, that the Indian crowd is dumber than the crowds present in China (read the reports following the recent earthquake |Link| the victims were helped with surprising speed and efficiancy, I bow down to the rescuers) or elsewhere for that matter. But what everybody in India, including the policymakers as well as its citizens fail to realise is that the fundamental problem of this country is only one and not many. This problem is the lack of EDUCATION.

Yes, education will in itself take care of all other problems like poverty, health, AIDS etc. It is the onset of knowledge which actually changes the mindset and creates something/someone better as various avenues open up to people and they see the light at the end of the tunnel. As the human mind broadens and increases its scope, people turn to better avenues and learn to better their lives. Thus, the solution to all our problems is simple and is within us: "Spreading knowledge and Education". The government obviously hasn't been and isn't doing enough to eradicate illiteracy (and it doesn't look like it will). It is now left to the citizens and the existing schools to do something about it.

It is only with education that the overall views (including the IQ) of Indians will change and we will have younger politicians who will actually give a damn about the country rather than some old geezers and criminals who just care about gossip, drama in the Parliament and making money rather than the good of the country.

Another great shift that will take place as a result of the spread of education is the imprtance of the individual. The greatness of the western nations is in their libertarian outlook. They trust the individual virtue over the collective virtue of the state. Gandhi understood this when he said: "I look upon an increase of the power of the State with the greatest fear, because although while apparently doing good by minimizing exploitation, it does the greatest harm to mankind by destroying individuality, which lies at the root of all progress. We know of so many cases where men have adopted trusteeship, but none where the State has really lived for the poor. "

Learning to trust the need and virtue of the individuals will be the next revolution for Indians as humans. We need to realise that Humans are a species which thrives more on individuals rather the collective. We may give the most important to "family" and "society" but we need to learn to draw the line where we start differentiating with the "self" and the "individual". Once this happens, Indians will get the space they need to grow. They will have the power to Dream. Dream of entering fields right now forbidden to them. Indians will come out into the world as the leaders of the world. With renowned individuals in every field and every profession, ranging from artists to techies to farmers to inventors. The talent of the Indian is vaste and unlimited, India just needs realise that this exists and to learn how to tap this talent.

Spread knowledge, Help one and all.

Viva La Vida

One of the most ingenious songs ever made by anyone in the music industry!! :)

Even though the tune is not really original but the ingenuity in its use in making the song makes this song original and sets it apart to be wondered in awe forever!!

Award winning Indian ad.

This award winning ad has inspired many Indians to donate their eyes so that the un-priviliged children can view the world as we do. So that they can experience life the way they should and see the beauty which exists in the world.
